October, 2011— For 30 years Business Development Corporation has been serving Indiana and Southwestern Michigan by helping businesses get started and keep growing. It is our commitment to strengthening our region’s growth, one business at a time.

“Trust in our strength for your growth, isn’t just our statement we really are growing too. Our new location just across the street from our old location in the Tower Building provides us with greater visibility and needed space to support our growth too”, says Dan Jones, President /CEO.

The move to the 10th floor of the Tower Building at 218 West Washington Street was complete in late September. The attraction was its close proximity to the financial needs we provide businesses and the historical nature of the building which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The formal opening of the building was December 28, 1929.

The Tower Building’s neo-Gothic architecture is taken from the Tribune Tower in Chicago, IL. Hebard & Hebard Architects, Inc., a local architectural firm purchased the building in 2004 and has offices on the main and second floors. This beautiful twelve-story building features gargoyles at the 10th floor, wrought iron and beautiful architectural details throughout its lobby and offices found within.
